Filtre à manches
A bag filter is a pressure-driven filtration device. The raw liquid enters the unit through an inlet and flows into a filter bag supported by a reinforced mesh. Under pressure, the filtered fluid passes through the bag and exits the outlet to proceed to the next stage of the operation, while the filter bag captures impurity particles. The process is highly efficient and straightforward; replacing the filter bag is convenient, with virtually no material loss.
Working Principle of Bag Filters
A bag filter primarily consists of a filter housing, a lid, a quick-opening mechanism, and a stainless steel support mesh for the filter bag. It functions as a pressure-driven filtration device: liquid enters the housing through a side inlet and flows into the filter bag, which is positioned within the support mesh. As the liquid permeates through the filter bag—selected to meet the required level of fineness—the desired filtrate is obtained, while impurity particles are captured by the bag. Replacing the filter bag is highly convenient, and the filtration process involves virtually no loss of material.
Main Structural Components of Bag Filters
Filter housing
The main outer shell of the filter, designed to withstand operating pressure. Available in materials such as stainless steel (304/316L) or carbon steel, selected based on the corrosivity of the process medium.
Filter housing cover
A sealed top cover, featuring either a quick-opening or flanged design to facilitate rapid filter bag replacement.
Support basket
An internal metal mesh framework that provides uniform support for the filter bag, preventing it from deforming or rupturing under pressure and ensuring full utilization of the filtration area.
Filter bag
The core filtration component, housed within a reinforced stainless steel mesh; the material passes through the filter bag, yielding a clarified liquid.
Inlet and outlet connections
Designed with a side-in/bottom-out or top-in/bottom-out configuration. The inlet is positioned on the upper side of the vessel, while the outlet is located at the bottom, ensuring that the liquid flows thoroughly across the entire surface of the filter bag.
Pressure gauge port
A dedicated port is provided on the vessel for the installation of a pressure gauge, allowing for real-time monitoring of the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet—a key indicator for assessing the extent of filter bag clogging.
Support legs and base
These provide stable support for the entire filter assembly, ensuring the equipment remains secure and stationary during operation. Installation options include floor-mounted or flange-mounted configurations.

Avantages du produit
Easy replacement, low cost
The quick-opening top cover design allows for convenient filter bag replacement without the need for specialized tools. As filter bags are consumables—priced significantly lower than filter cartridges—they ensure low long-term operating costs.
Wide range of filtration precision
Filtration precision can be flexibly selected to suit different operating conditions. A single unit can meet various filtration requirements simply by swapping in filter bags with the appropriate precision rating.
Stable operation with low risk of leakage
The filter bag fits snugly within the support basket, and a sealing ring ensures a tight, secure fit, effectively preventing bypass leakage. The overall structure is compact and capable of withstanding high pressure.
Easy maintenance and a small footprint
The equipment features a compact design, requiring minimal installation space. Routine maintenance is simple, involving only the periodic replacement of the filter bag, with no other complex procedures required.
